WAY better today, way, WAY better! I still did my flatwork well and I LISTENED over the jumps. I didn’t take off one time and I came back to Mom every time she asked. I don’t know why I can’t always be this good, but I’m glad I made Mom happy today!

Ok, SO.

First, we warmed up in our show-practice. I did a really good job! Nose in, engaging myself, trotting and cantering like a pro.

Then, it was time for jumping practice.

I just wasn’t being a good boy at all. I was blowing through the aids and it really, really upset my mother. So much that our trainer got on me, and I was equally bad for her until she REALLY got in my face. I was better after that, but I know better than to act like that. I really do.

Usually, we work pretty hard on Tuesdays, but Mom wasn’t feeling well. Poor Mom! So instead, I got my feet trimmed and then we walked around bareback for a bit. Feel better, Mom, I heard we are taking a field trip tomorrow!

Mom came today and helped put hay in the barn. It took FOREVER and she looked TIRED! I said, Mom, you can just put it all in my stall! (wink wink)

Casual Saturday! We did our usual work, a few jumps and some show practice. We trotted around with Mom’s friend Jennifer while they gossiped like two old ladies!
